my final post

overall, I really enjoyed studying this unit. It gave me chances to play around with technologies and learn about a lot of definitions on jargons such as what is RSS what they do and so on... Basically what I did on this blog was writing a reflective post regarding what I have learnt in the lecture/tutorial. But.. I dont think I really answered as I always talked about my life, my interests. It's not that informative but I think it's pretty entertaining... :P

I think I really did enjoy working on project A. I actually discussed about my online exhibition with my favorite artist Samantha Everton + to get a permission to use her artworks. And after I made my blog i sent the link to her and she was very happy with the design of the blog. :) and she invited me for the national photography festival !!! :)

I actually didnt really liked working on project B as there were bunch of assignments needed to be done on the same day. If I had some more time, I could have done it much better or even enjoyed working on it. But since time was running out, I had to finish it in a rush...

what I have learned during this unit was that I should have attended all the tutorial classes... I should really blame on my sleeping pattern and laziness... because tutorial class is the only time that you can actually learn a lot of things....

I have been very busy last week, I couldnt post the three nominated post!!! and here it is!

This is my last post for this semester!! I really enjoyed studying this unit, specially creating an online exhibition. The three nominated posts that I have chosen from my blog are :

1. 01.September 2008, regarding obtaining a permision from Samantha Everton for Project A.

I chose this article in the first because during working on my project A, I really enjoyed because I was making an online exhibition for my favorite artist which I dedicated it to her later on. The moment I read the email that she's given me a permission to use her digital photos I felt like I was walking in the air!!!!!

2. 21th August 2008 , regarding surrealism

I chose this article in second because I love learning about art history but specially surrealism.
so I just wrote some things that I learnt when I was in high school and yeah..


3. 17th Oct, 2008 "Struggling"

The reason I chose this was because it was my first time actually got so angry at myself because I couldn't do anything about it. I wrote everything down on my note, thinking it might be helping for my project B, but it turned out that it didnt work at all. So I just expressed my feeling on that blog... and I like it. haha.

Yes, I finally made a decision... Im going for Number 1 ! Data visualisation... YES!
I've started working on it since this afternoon... it's.. alright.. my personal data is going to be comparison bw life in Australia and before coming to Australia..
Im going to use Adobe flash.... so it entertains them...

fire alarm..

oh well, the fire alarm went off because of me yesterday. :| I was making raisin toasts that afternoon... thinking it would come up automatically. SO I didnt check till 15mins passed. Next thing I realised was the whole kitchen was filled up with this scary smokes!! I was like "#($&%)!!!"
I quickly opened all the windows and turn on the exhaust ...it was alright for few mins.... seemed like everything was alright but FIRE ALARM WENT OFF..
and I didnt really bother to go outside till the fireman comes to Arscott.. so me and my boyfriend who lives also in the dorm just left to school. HAHA.
People who know about this incident tease me for this which makes me embarrassed (STILL)...

Anyway....
for my project B. I might swap to numba 1.. data visualisation.. Im thinking of using Adobe and make data visualisation out of flash... about my life. :) I might consult abt this with my tutor tmr.... :) alright !

struggling..

ah.. this assignment is hard..Im working on number 2.. geotagging photos on GoogleMap from Flickr.. I thought it'd be easy.. but it's actually not.. oh well.. i found this discussion on Geotagging that was contributed by Ravensoft on Flickr. It suggested me to download the program which guides me this "step-by-step" approach of setting up and geotagging.. So yeah.. I downloaded it.. and somehow.. it's NOT working. :( And I found this guy, Tjeerdoo who was suggesting ppl to use the system from KML company... It's got the same service as the previous one.. so I clicked on the link that goes to TripperMap.. man.. I was hoping it'd work.. I watched this tutorial video plus become a member and everything..I wrote down every pinpoints from the video clips .... but it turned out that I must be a PREMIUM member to make what they called "this is going to make my website so cool"... I was like.. "#*($#(*&#*$)(#*$)^(@@_ ! "

Now my eyes are burning.... I can't do this anymore.. but yeah.. I just emailed to KML site regarding geotagging.. (coz when I was just investigating GoogleMap.. i saw a lot of people geotagged their photos by using KML company...)but if it doesnt work again, then I might have to switch it to question 1 or something.. then.. I am in a BIG BIG trouble.. I dont know.. Im really stressing out here. I feel like I waisted 4hrs... :'( ah.. I need a FOOD...........

It's been awhile...
well, I'd been very sick past 2 weeks and I couldn't go to any lectures and tutorials...
AND the thing is.. Im confused biggest time!!! I have no idea what tut is saying in the class so does the assignments.. I shall talk about this tomorro in my tut class... Im in need of desperate HELP!!!


Also... it's been...... a while since I submit the online exhibition... but then.. I haven't got any marks yet...
friends of mine already received the marks but not me... ah.. what's going on? ah.. I might have to talk about that too... sigh..

Anyway... I gotta go for my group meeting.... Im going to make an animation using the flash!
Im so looking forward to it! xD
